Ringkasan program
The entrepreneurship and business development option is designed to prepare students with the skills needed to launch their own business or to manage entrepreneurial initiatives for existing firms. EBD majors are challenged to pursue development of their own business ideas, seek employment with emerging ventures as a form of apprenticeship before starting their own businesses.
Modul program
Students will have their required courses in (21 semester hours): EBD 380, 480, 481, 482, 490, plus one course from MGT 356, 358; plus one course from BLA 461, EBD 491, 495, 498; MGT 357, 459; MKT 348, POM 372. Students pursuing this option cannot also pursue an option in Management and Leadership or Human Resource Management.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a graduation from an accredited secondary school. They must meet minimum course requirements as established by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina system. The course requirements should include the following: four course units in English, two course units in foreign language, four course units of mathematics, three course units in science and two course units in social science. A minimum 2.5 GPA on a U.S. scale of 4.0 is required. English proficiency is required of international applicants and is proven by one of the following: minimum score TOEFL should be 71 on the Internet-based exam, 197 on the computer-based exam, or 525 on the paper-based exam; minimum score of IELTS is 6.5 on the academic module; SAT-I Critical Reading score of 450 or higher; ACT reading section score of 20 or higher; Successful completion of UNCW’s ESL program, prior to applying; Having lived in the U.S. for 4 years or more and completion of 2 college-level courses of English composition at a U.S. college or university with a grade of B or better.
