The VCU School of Business ranks in the top five percent of business schools worldwide due to its AACSB International-accredited status. Their dedicated faculty and prime location within one of the top research universities in the nation ensure that students have the support they need to pursue the aspects of business they find most interesting. The school is a close-knit community within a large urban university. Take a walk around Snead Hall, their state-of-the-art building, and you will find students studying together in the armchairs of the atrium, collaborating on group projects in our fourteen breakout rooms and the da Vinci Center, meeting with faculty in the cafe, and gathering in the student organization meeting room. Opportunities to gain practical work experience abound thanks to the school's many connections with the local and regional business community. Students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels interact with executives through coursework, internships, and industry-affiliated student organizations. VCU is known nationwide for its exceptional and varied educational opportunities and takes great pride in its vibrant cultural diversity. The on-campus housing options are equally diverse and are designed to meet the needs of any student who chooses to experience residential living, having all facilities, traditional residential rooms, and suite- and apartment-style buildings. Each is staffed with a coordinator of residence education, with at least one resident director, and with many in-house resident and community assistants. Some of the special features of the residence halls are air-conditioned, carpeted and fully furnished, including kitchen with full-size appliances. Living room is furnished with love seat, lounge chair, coffee table and end tables. Bedrooms are furnished with one double bed, desk, dresser, chair and closet. Ceiling fans in living room, dining room and bedrooms. Residents furnish kitchen, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, lamps, bed and bath linens, and bathroom and cleaning supplies. There is one bathroom in two person apartments and two bathrooms in four-person apartments. Each bedroom is wired for Internet, telephone and cable TV; living room wired for cable TV, parking space is provided in adjacent deck and the fee is included in housing cost. Community assistants live throughout the residence center, 24-hour security (access via VCUCard ID; student security guards), Common room with games area; TV lounge, Study/meeting room, Computer lab, Common areas are maintained by full-time housekeeping staff.
