Ringkasan program
This degree meets the standards of the American Chemical Society for the preparation of chemists for entry into graduate school in Chemistry or entry directly into careers in Chemistry. Most all of the BS students carry out research with one or more of the research groups during their careers at ISU. Graduates have firm foundations in the fundamentals and application of current chemical theories. They are able to design, carry-out, record, and analyze the results of chemical experiments. They are able to use modern instrumentation and classical techniques to identify and solve chemical problems as well as explore new areas of research. Graduates are able to communicate the results of their work to chemists, as well as non-chemists. They understand the ethical and environmental dimensions of problems and issues facing chemists.

Students should have enrolled in high school and college courses concurrently (regardless of the number of credits) or never attended college or have attempted fewer than 12 semester college credits since graduating from high school. International student’s should have a minimum English proficiency requirement may be met with one of the following exams such as TOEFL IBT score of 71 (minimum score of 17 in the speaking and writing sections); TOEFL PBT 530; IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum score of 5.5 in all sub-sections); SAT critical reading score of 420.
