Students should select option I or option II. Option I: Computational: Mathematics 1201 and 1206 and 2201, All of the following: Mathematics 2101, 4201, 2206, 4701, and 3501, All of the following: Computer and Information Science 1110 or 1180; 1341, 2210, 3110, 3130, 3150, Two courses chosen from among: Computer and Information Science 3220, 3160, 3230, 3350, 3820, 51. Option II: Theoretical: Mathematics 1400 and 1206 and 2201, All of the following: Mathematics 2101, 4201, 3101, and 4101, All of the following: Computer and Information Science 1110 or 1180; 1341, 2210, 3110, 3130, 3150, 3230, One of the following: Computer and Information Science 3220, 3160, 3350, 3820, 51, One Computer and Information Science Department course numbered in the 60s or 80s, One of the following: Mathematics 43, Philosophy 3204, or a logic course offered by the Department of Computer and Information Science.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants are considered for admission on the basis of high school academic average, SAT scores, GED scores. Students must have an official transcript from an accredited high school or a GED diploma with scores. A minimum CAA (College Admissions Average) of 81 and a minimum combined SAT score of 1,000 in reading and math is required. Students preparing for baccalaureate study include the following high school academic units English: four units, Social studies: four units, Foreign language: three units of one foreign language: French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Latin, Russian, Spanish, or another acceptable foreign language, Mathematics: three units consisting of one unit of elementary algebra (9th-year mathematics), one unit of plane geometry (10th-year mathematics), and one unit of intermediate algebra and trigonometry (11th-year mathematics); or Courses I, II, and III of the New York State Sequential (integrated) Mathematics Curriculum, Science: Three units consisting of one unit of any of the following: general biology, general science, chemistry, physics, physiography or earth science, advanced biology, botany, or zoology. (It is recommended that students intending to major in a math- or science- related area have four units each of science and math.). Applicant whose native language is not English and whose secondary and postsecondary schooling was not in English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
