Ringkasan program

The Early Childhood Development Bachelor of Science degree is designed for those who are interested in working with young children, but are not seeking teacher certification. The mission as early childhood advocates is to prepare reflective, competent, and caring professionals to work with a diverse population of young children using research-based, developmentally appropriate practices. The program believes that all young children deserve a strong educational foundation in a safe and nurturing environment, utilizing a constructive approach to learning through collaboration with family and community. Students take a series of core and specialization courses to prepare them to work with children, parents, and families in a variety of settings. Throughout the program, students document and reflect upon their accomplishments in a professional portfolio, which is continuously reviewed by faculty. This degree culminates in a semester-long practicum.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (Internet based), 213 (Computer based), and 550 (Paper based); or an IELTS score of 6.5.
