Ringkasan program
This program explores the economic decisions of individuals, businesses, governments, and other institutions. It examines the nature of economic activity, why it takes place, and how it affects everyone's lives. The program includes elective courses that enable students to tailor their educational program to meet personal needs and interests. The study of economics also helps students develop a way of thinking that is logical and rigorous. It provides decision-making tools that they can apply to personal as well as business decisions and use to address the many economic decisions they will face in the future. Students planning to pursue a career in education, enter graduate school in economics, or attend law school are encouraged to pursue the program with the Liberal Arts Emphasis.

The modules are: ECON 3112 Econometrics, ECON 3123 Intermediate Macroeconomics, ECON 3122 Intermediate Microeconomics, MGMT 3160 Business Communications, ECON 4177 History of Economic Thought.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have graduated from an approved or accredited high school or have earned a high school equivalency certificate or G.E.D. The high school course units should include the following: 4 units in English, emphasizing grammar, composition and literature; 4 units in mathematics, including Algebra I, Algebra II and geometry, and a higher level mathematics course for which Algebra II is a prerequisite; 2 units in social studies, including one unit in U.S. history; and 3 units in science, including at least one unit in a life or biological science (e.g., biology), at least one unit in a physical science (e.g., chemistry, physics, physical science), and at least one laboratory course; and 2 units of the same foreign language. A minimum score of 180 on the new computer based TOEFL or a minimum score of 75% on the MELAB is required for admission.
