Ringkasan program
This primary goal of the department is to prepare students to teach physical education, K-12. Students complete courses in general education, professional education, and physical education. Physical education courses encompass specialized courses in the foundations of physical education, skill development and methods of teaching. Throughout the undergraduate years, students engage in clinical experiences, culminating with student teaching during the senior year. Fully accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), graduates are licensed to teach Physical Education, K-12, in the State of Tennessee.

The modules are BIOL 2010/2011 (4); BIOL 2020/2021 (4); EDPR 2111; EXSS 3700 (4), 3405, 3853; HPRO 2100; IDT 3600; LEAD 2010; PETE 2001 (2), 2002 (2), 2003 (2), 2006 (2), 2009 (2), 3307; 3308 (2), 3800, 3903, 4200 (4), 4300 (4), 4400, 4800, 4909 (9); SPED 2000; and one of the following: PHED 1711, 1712, 1713, 1722, or 2703.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should have completed High school, General Education Development (GED) Test or have an equivalent qualification. Applicants must also submit scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT). International applicants whose native language is not English must supply results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL) or its equivalent.
