This program in secondary education leads to a New York State Initial Certificate for teaching both physics and general science in grades 7-12. Students seeking admission to the B.S. Physics Education program should initially enroll in the B.S. Physics program. Graduates have been hired as computer programmers, teachers, engineers, and lab technicians. Typical hiring firms include technology companies, engineering companies, and government-funded research and development firms.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants to be considered for admission should have completed the equivalent of 12 years of elementary and secondary education. Also applicants need to provide evidence of proficiency in English language with a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 500 (paper-based test), 173 (computer-based test), and 61 (Internet-based test). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 5.5 may also be used as an alternative.
