Ringkasan program
The Educational Studies program is a practical, engaging program designed for professionals who are interested in education but are not currently interested in earning a degree to become a licensed teacher. Students can put their new-found knowledge to use in a broad range of areas, such as: Workforce development and training, nonprofit agencies, community programs, tutoring and support services for children and adults, education-business partnerships, and educational policy.
Modul program
The modules include: Communication Course (1 cr.):COMM 1000 Communication Skills for Career Development 1, Core Courses (60 cr.): EDUC 1014 Understanding Today’s Instructional Environments 5, EDUC 1015 How People Learn 5, EDUC 1016 Foundations of Educational Studies 5, EDUC 2003 Human Development 5, EDUC 2012 Understanding and Valuing Creativity 5, EDUC 3006 Designing Curriculum 5, EDUC 3007 Assessment and Evaluation 5, EDUC 3008 Diversity in Education 5, EDUC 3009 Technology and Education 5, EDUC 3010 21st Century Learning 5, EDUC 4013 Motivation and Learning 5, EDUC 4014 Legal and Ethical Issues in Education 5, Elective Courses (70 cr.): At least 14 elective credits must be at the 3000 level or above. These 70 credits of electives are in addition to the five-credit general education elective, Capstone Course (5 credits): ACCT 4900 Accounting Capstone Project 5.

Admission is considered for adult students who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Applicants must also meet one of the following criteria: be 24 years old or older; or be active in the military or a veteran; or already have earned 90 college quarter credit hours.
