This program is designed to prepare prospective teachers of children in grades 4-8. In addition to field placements in elementary and middle school classrooms throughout the two years in the program, teacher candidates will take courses to support two areas of concentration: English/language arts and their choice of science, mathematics, or social science.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have high school graduates that have earned less than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of transferable college credit coursework (not including joint enrollment and advanced placement credits). They should have strong SAT or ACT score results and provide a well developed personal essay. The middle 50% of admitted students had SAT total scores ranging from 1070 to 1210 (CR + M sub scores only), and high school grade point averages ranging from 3.13 to 3.71 (calculated on academic courses only). In additional, they should have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and have passed or exempted the GACE Basic Assessment.
