Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences prepares students in educational theory, technology, research methods, the policy and practice of health, health and nutrition counseling, and administration. All programs include liberal arts and professional studies with an emphasis on clinical and field experience. By providing these tools, students are prepared to meet the demands of their future careers as well as graduate level education. Majors include Health Education, Allied Health Services, Nutrition and Food Science and Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science and Food Management and Nutrition and Food Science and General. Minors include Health Studies and Nutrition and Food Science.
