Ringkasan program
This program prepares students in the fundamentals of normal acquisition of speech, language, and hearing, and provides an introduction to the field of communication disorders. The undergraduate program provides students with necessary prerequisite courses for application to graduate study. The speech-language pathology master’s degree program is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

The courses are EXE 100 Nature and Needs of Individuals with Special Needs, EXE 245 Community Service with Individuals with Special Needs, EDF 202 Child Development and Education, EDF 302 Educational Psychology: Elementary Education, SLP 302 Clinical Phonetics, SLP 303 Language Acquisition, SLP 304 Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing Mechanisms , SLP 305 Communication Disorders I, SLP 314 Audiology, SLP 328 Audiology Lab, SLP 329 Language Acquisition Lab, SLP 405 Communication Disorders II, SLP 411 Language Diagnosis and Remediation, SLP 412 Speech Acoustics and Perception, SLP 424 Organization and Administration of School Speech and Language Programs, SLP 428 Acoustics Lab, SLP 429 Clinical Observation, PSY 306 Statistics in Psychological Research or MAT 311 Introductory Probability and Statistics.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants may apply for admission to the department after a minimum of one semester of college study. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required. Also applicants need to provide evidence of proficiency in English language with a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 500 (paper-based test), 173 (computer-based test), and 61 (Internet-based test). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 5.5 may also be used as an alternative.
