This program looks specifically at the material culture of past civilizations and how ancient peoples used material culture to adapt to their natural and social environments. Together, these fields provide the student with a broad, and compelling, perspective on who we are and how we shaped our contemporary world.

The modules include 3230:150 Cultural Anthropology, 3230:151 Human Evolution Osteology, 3230:410/510Evol/Human Behavior, 3240:100 Introduction to Archaeology, 3230:398 Intro to Anthropological Data, 3200:361 Literature of Greece, 3200:362 Literature of Rome, 3200:363 Women in Ancient Greece.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

International students are not required to take the SAT or the ACT for standard admission. However, these tests may be required for direct admission and scholarship consideration. Undergraduate students must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 173 (61 Internet-based test), a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a minimum MELAB score of 69. TOEFL, IELTS and MELAB scores are valid for two (2) years from test date. The University of Akron accepts only valid test scores.
