Ringkasan program
This program prepares students for journalism careers in print, broadcast and new media. Writing and other production courses in the News area include hands-on skills courses taught in laboratory settings in which students apply their journalism knowledge. Students critically analyze content and issues through lecture courses that explore journalism history and investigate contemporary media trends.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
International students are not required to take the SAT or the ACT for standard admission. However, these tests may be required for direct admission and scholarship consideration. Undergraduate students must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 173 (61 Internet-based test), a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a minimum MELAB score of 69. TOEFL, IELTS and MELAB scores are valid for two (2) years from test date. The University of Akron accepts only valid test scores.
