Ringkasan program
This plan is intended solely as a guideline for students pursuing a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree in History. The particular needs of individual students may require a different timeframe; however, the History Department strongly advises students to complete as much of the General Education requirement as possible before undertaking requirements in the major. Students are also advised to consult regularly with their faculty advisors, to ensure satisfactory progress in the fulfillment of all University requirements.
Modul program
The courses are: GEN 101 (1 hr) General Education Written Communications course (3 hrs) (ENGL 101 or 105), General Education Oral Communication course (3 hrs), General Education Mathematics (3 hrs), HIST 101 or HIST 102 (3 hrs) Foreign Language I (4 hrs), Elective in Humanities 300+ (3 hrs), General Education Social and Behavioral Sciences course, other than History (3 hrs), Foreign Language II (4 hrs), General Education Natural Science, with lab (e.g., BIOL 102, BIOL 104; 4 hrs).

Students should have a complete academic record includes all official transcripts of courses of study completed and degrees/certificates earned at the secondary or collegiate level. Official transcripts of credit earned from U.S. educational institutions should be mailed directly to the Office of Admissions. Undergraduate applicants who have attended post-secondary schools, colleges, universities, or professional institutions outside the United States must submit their academic records to Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) or World Education Services, Inc. (WES) for a course-by-course evaluation. All applicants for whom English is a second language need to show evidence of sufficient proficiency in the English language. Applicants may demonstrate English proficiency by submitting Test of English as a Second Language (TOEFL) scores of 213 or higher on the computer-based test, 550 or higher on the paper-based test, 79 or higher on the web-based test, or successfully complete the advanced level of the University of Louisville's Intensive English as a Second Language (IESL) Program. Freshmen or transfer applicants with fewer than 24 transferable credit hours are required to submit scores from the American College Testing (ACT) Program. Scores from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) may be substituted where ACT is unavailable. Students will be asked to demonstrate their financial resources to support their educational and living expenses.
