Ringkasan program
This program is primarily for those interested in music as personal enrichment, as background for a career in the music industry or preparation for further studies in music.
Modul program
The following are the modules: Major (45): MUSM 101, 111, 125, 202, 203, 205, 212, 213, 304, 305, 351, 352, 353; MUSP 270; 6 semesters of applied major (minimum of 1 semester at 300 level); 2 semesters of major performing organization; 4 semesters of elective performing organization; 2 semesters of applied piano (non-pianists) with completion of piano proficiency OR 2 semesters of applied minor instrument (pianists); 2 credits music electives. Music and New Media (24): MUSM 433, 434, 438; 2 semesters MUSM 435; 2 semesters MUSM 437; 2 semesters MUSM 401; 1 semester MUSP 396; 2 semesters MUSM 301 (fulfills 2 credit B.A. Music elective requirement).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have four years of English including composition and literature, three years of social studies including one year each of U.S. history and geography, three years of math including two years of algebra and one of geometry, two years of the same world language, one year in an area of the arts, three years of science including one year of each of a biological and physical science and one year laboratory experience. International applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements: meet the score of 61 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) or 500 for the Institutional (paper) TOEFL or 500 standard on International (paper) Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Apart from this they must also have 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), 70 on Michigan, SAT critical reading score of 370, graduation from an English-medium high school with a 2.5 (cumulative equivalent) GPA or higher.
