This program allows students to learn about American governmental institutions, political thought, and linkage institutions. Course offerings include American Congress, the Presidency, Politics and the Media, Interest Groups, Political Parties, Campaign Management, Lobbying, and more.

Modul program

The modules include 3700:100 Government and Politics in the United States, 3700:201 Introduction to Political Research, 3700:300 Comparative Politics, 3700:303 Introduction to Political Thought, 3700:310 International Politics and Institutions.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

International students are not required to take the SAT or the ACT for standard admission. However, these tests may be required for direct admission and scholarship consideration. Undergraduate students must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 173 (61 Internet-based test), a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a minimum MELAB score of 69. TOEFL, IELTS and MELAB scores are valid for two (2) years from test date. The University of Akron accepts only valid test scores.
