Ringkasan program
In this program, students receive extensive training in writing and critical thinking as they explore the traditions of British, American, and Anglophone literary expression. In addition to focusing and extending the values of a traditional liberal arts education, the skills gained in the English major program provides vital preparation for business and professional careers, as well as for further academic work or artistic endeavors. The experience of the graduates has proven that English is an excellent background for law, medicine, teaching, management, publishing, advertising and advanced technology fields.

Students must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. Students must have a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language or 61 on the internet-based TOEFL or a minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
