Ringkasan program
The art history major prepares students to navigate the complexity of visual culture, whether past or present, by introducing them to the specialized language and strategies of image making as well as by providing them with a rigorous historical introduction to the production, interpretation, and circulation of images. The curriculum employs new models of teaching and theorizing art history in order to acknowledge changes in the field.

Admission to Drake is selective, the admission committee considers the full record of each candidate for admission. Drake prefers students with varied talents and interests, so there is no single, inflexible set of admission standards applied to all candidates. Students should complete their secondary school for admissions into undergraduate programs. Should take the TOEFL and submit scores to Drake. If not done prior to arrival on campus, the TOEFL must be completed during the orientation session before beginning the semester. Submit documented evidence of financial support for educational expenses. Students should submit ACT or SAT scores directly from the testing agency for scholarship consideration or for admission to the pre-professional pharmacy program.
