This specialization is designed to provide basic competence in entry-level human services positions in child welfare (child protective service, foster care, adoptions, in home services, case management, group care), mental health, and community-based organizations. Working with children and families across a wide spectrum of diverse statuses (ethnic, racial, economic, sexual orientation) is emphasized.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant must have completed high school or secondary school with a cumulative (overall) grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 3.0 (when converted to the U.S. 4.0 grading scale). They are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores; however, a low GPA can be offset by an SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 21. Applicant must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting the following test results: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores for Paper-based test (PBT) 525, Computer-based test (CBT) 197, or Internet-based test (IBT) with minimum sub scores of 16 for reading and listening, and 14 for speaking and writing or IELTS scores of 6.5 overall and minimum 6.0 in each band.
