The courses are - Introduction to Childhood Studies, Statistics I, Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Method and Theory, Psychology of Childhood, Introduction to Sociology, Method and Techniques of Social Research, Childhood and Culture, Introduction to Literary Study, Literature of Childhood, Literature of Adolescence, Literary Constructions of Childhood, Perspectives on History, Family and Gender in Historical Perspective, History of Childhood in America, Director’s Academy, Leadership Through Mentoring Practice, Management and Budgetary Practice, Principles of Effective Supervision.

Students applying for this course must have copies of high school or secondary school documents stamped "attested as true copies" by an educational official from your school, council, or embassy/consulate. Students whose native language is not English are required to take English Language proficiency exams. An official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or MELAB (Michigan English Assessment Battery) is acceptable. Acceptable TOEFL scores are 550+ on the paper and pencil test or 79+ on the Internet-based test. Acceptable IELTS score is 7 or higher on either the academic paper and pencil test or the academic computer-based test. The minimum acceptable score is 76 for MELAB. Students are also required to take ACT or SAT exams.
