Ringkasan program

This program provides a curriculum of classes in Ballet, Modern, Mexican Folklorico, and Flamenco. Dance classes are open to all undergraduate students at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels to meet the varied needs of students. This program provides a broad coverage of dance training, including dance technique, improvisational and choreographic skills, and music for dancers, historical and cultural dimensions of dance, dance production, dance science, and theories of dance. The Dance program provides students with the opportunity to prepare for a variety of dance careers, offering both a broad base of study and opportunity for more intensive work in areas of specific interest. In addition, the dance program provides performances, lecture demonstrations, workshops, and expertise to the community-at-large, addressing the special needs of the region. The dance companies also extend their services to the valley through alumni who have found employment in private and public schools, universities, professional dance companies, and recreational programs. This program designed for those students wishing to focus on performance and choreography.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have graduated with recommended high school program or higher. All International applicants whose native language is not English must have obtained Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 500 for paper/pencil tests or 173 for computer based tests or 61 for internet-based tests. The minimum acceptable score for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is 6. The minimum test score for ACT is 18 and SAT 850.
