Ringkasan program
This program offers students an opportunity to integrate an interest in the arts with an understanding of some of the practical applications of business. This major serves students preparing for careers in arts administration or management in music, theatre and the visual arts. It will also serve those who might want to create an independent gallery, ensemble, or theatre company.
Modul program
The courses are MAT-112 Introduction to Statistics, MAT-151 Calculus I or MAT-123.1 Applied Mathematics or equivalent, ART-100 Drawing or ART-130 Design, Three credits of art history MUS-100 Music Fundamentals, and one of the following: MUS-111 Introduction to Music Literature, MUS-103.1 Introduction to Music Theory, MUS-104 Baroque Materials of Music, THE-115 Introduction to Theatre, and one of the following: THE-215 Fundamentals of Acting, THE-240 Stagecraft, one of the following: BUS-100 Introduction to Business, BUS-200 Small Business Management, ACC-221 Financial Accounting, BUS-391 Legal Environment of Business, and two of the following three: BUS-357 Organizational Behavior, BUS-360 Principles of Marketing, BUS-330 Principles of Finance.
