Ringkasan program
This program is an inter-disciplinary field of the behavioral sciences, drawing especially on the research of sociologists as well as law. Our criminal justice major combines the scientific study of crime and the system of laws, enforcement, adjudication, corrections, and probation. Our research and teaching include the incidence and forms of crime as well as its causes and consequences.

The courses are:SOC 190 Introduction to Criminal Justice (3), SOC 200 Research Methods (3), SOC 210 Classical Sociological Theories (3), SOC 232 Law Enforcement (3), SOC 233 Introduction to Corrections (3), SOC 301 Quantitative Research Methods (3) ,or SOC 302 Qualitative Research Methods (3), SOC 390 Theories of Crime (3), SOC 400 Criminal Justice Practicum (3), SOC 439 Criminal Law and Procedure (3), SOC 496 Criminal Justice Capstone (3), Electives (6 hours from the following list):SOC 333 Corporate and While Collar Crime (3), SOC 355 Juvenile Delinquency (3),SOC 359 Law and Society (3), SOC 380 Juvenile Justice (3),SOC 446 Criminal Investigations (3) ,SOC 462 Probation, Parole and Community Corrections (3)
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
To be considered for admission to any Saint Louis University undergraduate program, the applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school or must have an acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) test. Students are strongly encouraged to present five academic courses for each of the four years of high school. These academic courses should include the following: 4 years of English, 4 years of Mathematics, 3 years of Foreign Language, 3 years of Natural Sciences, 3 years of Social Sciences and 3 years of Academic Electives. The minimum scores required for TOEFL is paper-based (PBT) = 550, Internet-based (iBT) = 80 and Computer-based (CBT) = 213 and IELTS score should be 6.0.
