The African American Literature Concentration is designed to familiarize students with the varied chronological development of African American Literature, 1750 to the present. The course offerings offer a full range of approaches, from the study of historical periods and genres to the most recent developments in literary criticism and theory.
Modul program
The core requirements ENGL 3210: British Lit to 1750, ENGL 3220: British Lit since 1750, ENGL 3327: American Lit to 1890, Professional Writing (PW): ENGL 3601: Technical and Professional Writing, ENGL 3602: African American Literature (AALIT): ENGL 3325: Af/Am Lit thru Harlem Renaissance, ENGL 3326: Af/Am Lit since Harlem Renaissance, ENGL 4372: Af/Am Author/Harlem Renaissance and ENGL 4373: Af/Am Author since Harlem Renaissance.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should have completed High school, General Education Development (GED) Test or have an equivalent qualification. Applicants must also submit scores on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT). International applicants whose native language is not English must supply results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL) or its equivalent.
