In Art Education track, students must complete 10 foundational art courses: Art 105, 106, 120, 205, 210, 155, 157, 310, 315, Art 130 or Art 251; eight credits of 200-300 level Art History electives (Art 230, 250, 260, 270 or 360); Education 106, 151, 241, 470, 490, 497; Special Education 282; two English courses (one literature and one writing) and two math courses. Education 161 or 162 also is recommended.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited secondary school or a state Department of Education-approved program with at least four years of English, three years of mathematics, and two years each of laboratory sciences, social studies and foreign languages. Students must also qualify the Standardized Testing Waiver, applicants must submit the results of standardized tests such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of the College Board or the American College Testing (ACT). This college allows in waive their test score from the standard grade point average of 3.50 or better (on a 4.00 scale) will allow that student to waive their standardized test scores. The TOEFL score and IELTS Scores are also compulsory for admission.

Founded in 1899, Elizabethtown College is a selective private, residential co-ed college of 1900 students pursuing degrees in liberal arts, fine and performing arts, science and engineering, business, communications and education. Located on 200 acres in southern Pennsylvania, the campus is near Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia, rich with cultural, athletic, community and social opportunities. The college provides good housing facilities to it students by way of the following residence halls. David E. and Sadie M. Brinser residence hall houses 109 male and female residents with an average of 20 students per floor community. All rooms have a unique "L" shape, carpeted floors and central heating and air conditioning systems. Laundry facilities and vending machines are located within the residence hall. There are four suites, each with a private bath and kitchen. Founders’ hall consists of four-wings, each dedicated to four founders. The building houses 318 students, making it the largest residence hall. This air-conditioned, coed residence hall offers a unique, living environment. Each floor is the equivalent of a small community, consisting of bathrooms and lounge areas designed to accommodate eight students. A large lounge area connects the wings. Myer hall overlooks the Dell, houses 136 men and women with an average of 30 students per floor community. Myer has a newly renovated main lounge area. Ober hall houses 202 students. It is divided into two wings. Each floor community averages 29 students and has 12 double occupancy rooms, one single room, one suite for four students and a lounge. The rooms have tile floors. The two wings are connected by a main lounge. A Wellness/Substance Free community is located in Ober hall. Royer hall accommodates 125 men and women, with an average of 21 students per hall. On the first floor there is a newly renovated kitchen and a main lounge. Schlosser hall houses a total of 206 female residents with an average of 42 students per floor. All rooms and hallways in this building are carpeted. All floors have a kitchenette and a lounge. There is a main lounge on the first floor, which contains a television, pool table, Ping-Pong table and vending machines. Laundry facilities are located on the first floor. The College also provides Independent Living Facilities.
