A major in French with teaching certification consists of 36 semester hours in courses above the 100-level, a with a minimum of 14 hours on the 300-level (to include 320), 11 hours on the 400-level, one literature course at the 300- or 400-level, and FL 436 (Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages).

Modul program

The courses are: ENGL 101 and 102; SPCM 101; MATH 110 or 113; PHYS 101, GEOL 110 or CHEM 106; PLB 115, 117 or ZOOL 115; PLB 301I, 303I or ZOOL 312I; HIST 101a or FL 102; AD 101, HIST 201, MUS 103 or THEA 101; ENGL 121 or 204; AD 227; ANTH 202, ENGL 205, HIST 202, 210, LING 201, PHIL 210, 211 or SOC 215; POLS 114; HIST 110; HED 101 or PE 101. FR 201a,b, FR 320 a,b, 330 plus 8 hours of any other 300-level courses (GER 320b fulfills), CoLA Writing-Across-the Curriculum requirement, FL 436 and any combination of 400-level courses (French 410 fulfills the CoLA requirement for a second departmental writing-intensive course). At least one literature course must be taken at either the 300- or 400-level. Both oral and written language competency must be demonstrated in separate examinations at the advanced level.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant should have secondary school certificates or mark sheet and all college/university transcripts. They should also submit the scores from the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and should have a bank statement or letter from their sponsor, with the financial statement attached, and return it with their admission application. Successful completion of the TOEFL examination with the following scores - 520 (PB), 190 (CB), 68 (IB) and score of 6.5 on the IELTS Exam are required for admission.
