This program gives students a unique and highly marketable combination of skills: a strong grounding in the analytical tools of economics, an understanding of how the U.S. economy operates and interacts with the global economy, and both written and oral fluency in the Spanish language. here is a substantial need in the labor market for individuals who have this set of skills. Spanish is a particularly important foreign language, as it plays a major role in the growing trade and other financial exchanges between the United States and other countries. In addition, there has been significant growth in the Spanish-speaking population in the U.S., and Spanish is now spoken in fully one-half of the households in which a foreign language is used. . The program's emphasis on economics courses with an international focus makes graduates particularly attractive to the growing number of American businesses which have dealings with Mexico and Latin America.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must satisfy the minimum high school subject requirements and all applicants must have successfully completed the high school courses such as four years of English, three years of mathematics (includes algebra, geometry, advanced algebra/ trigonometry), science, social science, two years of language other than English and one year of an elective. They must present a satisfactory combination of high school percentile rank score ranges from 70-91 and ACT score of 21-27 or SAT test scores. They must possess the GPA in the range of 2.9-3.6. Applicants from countries where the official language of the country is not English must have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 520 on paper-based or 190 on computer-based is required for admission.
