This individually designed concentration permits students, in consultation with their academic adviser, to design their own concentration so as to explore thoroughly a theme in mathematics or statistics or to investigate connections between mathematics and/or statistics and another field, such as biology or economics.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have certain minimum high school unit requirements such as four years of English, three years of college preparatory mathematics (algebra II is a minimum requirement), two years of the same foreign language, three years of science (including two with a laboratory component), two years of social science including one course in U.S. history, and two electives from the above areas, arts and humanities, or computer science. In addition to this, international students should have obtained a TOEFL score of 213 or higher on computer-based, 80 or higher on internet-based; or an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher. Non-native speakers with a SAT-I verbal score of 400 or higher do not need to take the TOEFL or IELTS.
