Ringkasan program

This program explores the role and impact of decision-making by governments. The discipline includes knowledge of both process and substance of a particular policy area. Students take a common core of courses dealing with public policy theories, processes, methods of public policy analysis, and important environmental and urban policy issues. In addition, a data analysis course is required that the student selects from a list of approved courses. A capstone course reconvenes the students at the end of their curriculum to study a public policy problem in-depth under the direction of a public policy professor. The capstone changes approximately every three years, to reflect a current issue on the public policy agenda.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants should have completed or are about to complete their secondary school education (high school) and have not taken any college or university coursework after finishing their secondary education. Applicants educated outside the US, regardless of their legal status, should have a proof of English proficiency. Applicants can prove their English proficiency by submitting any of the tests below: minimum TOEFL score of 80, no section lower than 17 (internet based), 213 (computer-based) or 550 (paper based); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT verbal score of 500; minimum ACT score of 18 on the reading section, and 20 on the English section and a minimum Pearson Test of English Academic score of 53.
