Ringkasan program
This program provide basic mathematical and statistical training for students in the social, biological, and physical sciences and in the professional schools; prepare teachers of mathematics; and provide advanced and graduate work for students specializing in the field. Courses offered by the department of mathematics are designed to satisfy the needs of majors and non majors interested in mathematics primarily as part of a broad liberal education. Number theory features topics such as congruences, Chinese remainder theorem, Gaussian reciprocity, and basic properties of prime numbers.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale. Students must have a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language or 61 on the internet-based TOEFL or a minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
