Ringkasan program

This program is organized to engage students at the fundamental levels of vision, thought, and practice in the visual arts. Through hands-on experience, students develop perceptual skills and expand their understanding of creative thought processes, applicable to advanced study in art or to their own chosen discipline. Furthermore, students tap into a more intuitive, non-linear mode of thinking, not addressed as directly in other disciplines. Intuitive and creative thinking processes foster an investigation of personal beliefs and spiritual reflection as one of the motivations for developing requisite studio skills. Critical thinking and problem solving are shared in a group environment during classroom critiques and studio projects, encouraging respectful interaction and intellectual development.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

To be considered for admission to any Saint Louis University undergraduate program, the applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school or must have an acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) test. Students are strongly encouraged to present five academic courses for each of the four years of high school. These academic courses should include the following: 4 years of English, 4 years of Mathematics, 3 years of Foreign Language, 3 years of Natural Sciences, 3 years of Social Sciences and 3 years of Academic Electives. The minimum scores required for TOEFL is paper-based (PBT) = 550, Internet-based (iBT) = 80 and Computer-based (CBT) = 213 and IELTS score should be 6.0.
