Ringkasan program
This is a flexible concentration whereby students can pursue an emphasis in end-user computing, software training and development, multimedia, web-based technologies, and microcomputer networking. The option focuses on planning, designing, implementing, evaluating, and managing information technologies for the desktop environment. It deals with the application of technologies that support work processes and employee performance in the workplace. It is designed to challenge undergraduate students to understand the dynamics role of information systems on workplace performance from the perspective of both individual workers and the organization.

The modules include BIS 320 Web Technologies and Information Architecture, BIS 350 Computer Systems Support and Security, BIS 425 Training and Development for Industry, BIS 440 Planning and Implementation of IT, BIS 490 Cases in Information Technology, BIS 398 Practicum in Information Systems or CIS 439 Cooperative Education IV, CIS 211 Advanced Microcomputer Applications, CIS 340 Telecommunications and Networking, BIS/CIS Approved electives, BIS 322 Systems Security, BIS 330 Collaborative Technologies and Knowledge Management, CIS 325 Analysis and Design of Information Systems, CIS 442 Network Administration.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
International students must demonstrate a proficiency in the English language. It can be either TOEFL or IELTS score. The minimum requirement for the TOEFL is 173 (computer-based), 500 (written) or 61(Internet-based) and for IELTS it is 5.0. To assist in the proper placement of students in the areas of English, mathematics, science and social studies, all entering undergraduate international students must take the ACT exam upon arrival unless valid ACT or SAT scores are on file.
