Ringkasan program

This program provides preparation in educational research, theory and practice, and the foundations of the American school system. The educational foundations degree culminates with a baccalaureate degree. Graduates can enter the work force or apply to a fifth-year program in teaching licensure. Students planning to major in educational foundations typically spend their first two years completing general-education requirements. It consists of a core of educational studies organized into four strands - learning, teaching, and assessment; curriculum theory; technology as education; and equality of opportunity. This course of study completed during the junior and senior year leads to a bachelor's degree. This degree does not include or result in a teaching license. Students who wish to pursue a teaching license and master's degree may apply to a graduate program for a master's degree and teaching license at the UO or elsewhere in the state or country.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have an overall GPA of 2.75 in all college coursework completed. Students must complete a minimum of 50 quarter credits by the time of application, and have completed a minimum of 72 quarter credits by the end of winter term. Students must have a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language or 61 on the internet-based TOEFL or a minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
