Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have four years of English including composition and literature, three years of social studies including one year each of U.S. history and geography, three years of math including two years of algebra and one of geometry, two years of the same world language, one year in an area of the arts, three years of science including one year of each of a biological and physical science and one year laboratory experience. International applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements: meet the score of 61 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) or 500 for the Institutional (paper) TOEFL or 500 standard on International (paper) Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Apart from this they must also have 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), 70 on Michigan, SAT critical reading score of 370, graduation from an English-medium high school with a 2.5 (cumulative equivalent) GPA or higher.

The Department of Foreign Languages at St. Cloud State University has a long tradition of preparing students for professional careers, future academic work, and upcoming rich and varied life experiences. The rigorous study of foreign languages and literatures is a primary vehicle for understanding other peoples and cultures. The department employs a diverse and experienced faculty who represent four continents and offers courses from beginning language sections to advanced courses in literature, culture and pedagogy.

New students arriving at St. Cloud State University (SCSU) from abroad are required to make timely application if they wish to reside in an on-campus residence hall. All students should complete an on-campus residence hall contract by August 1, 2008 for fall semester 2008. If students are unable to make this deadline, there will be no guarantee to make accommodations off-campus. Students who have completed the housing contract and who are planning to live on campus for the semester, are granted 'temporary' housing prior to the first day of classes, but there is a fee for this. There is an estimated $115 per week charge for students moving in before August 23. The earliest move-in date is August 16th. For a new international student applicant, the residence hall room will be reserved if the housing office receives the housing form and deposit check by the deadline. If application for housing arrives after the deadline and there are still rooms available and students will be able to get a room on-campus.
