Ringkasan program

This program provides for the study of space, form, color and light in collaboration with the pragmatic investigation of building codes, materials, finishes, construction methods and business practices. An important focus also is placed on the study of design theory and the history of interior environments. All of these areas are synthesized in the curriculum to provide learning of the overall context of the built interior environment. Graduates are prepared with the skills and knowledge that can facilitate the student’s transition into an entry-level interior design position at a successful firm or corporation, or entry into programs of advanced study. The department also prepares students with the skills and knowledge that will allow for lifelong learning and professional development in the design industry.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should be a graduate from a secondary school or its equivalent. The university also requires them to have completed the following academic units by the final year of their high-school curriculum: mathematics, natural science, history or social science, and English or foreign language. Students who have not studied in an English-speaking country must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) offered by the Educational Testing Service in countries throughout the world, or International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) and arrange for the testing agency to send the test results to the university. The required TOEFL score is 550 (213 for computer-based exams) and IELTS is 6.0. They must also submit a completed financial statement accompanied by an original bank verification letter.
