Ringkasan program
This program emphasizes a strong foundation in materials and techniques, broad competency in firing processes and operation of studio equipment, development of personal artistic style and direction, and a thorough exploration of historical and contemporary ceramic traditions. It includes classes in handbuilding, throwing, surface design, ceramic history, ceramic chemistry, and kilns/firing theory.

Students should be a graduate from a secondary school and be at least 16 years of age. All international students whose native language is not English must have an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 500 (paper based test) or 173 (computer-based test) or 61 (internet Based TOEFL) submitted prior to admission. Students who have less than a 2.00 high school GPA or less than a 17 ACT Composite score will be reviewed by the Admissions Review Committee. They should demonstrate competence in basic courses at the secondary level that are closely related to the intended major program of study at the University.
