Ringkasan program
This program is designed for the student to "learn by doing" and therefore involves hands-on production for all four years of matriculation. Supplementing this experience are strong components in scriptwriting as well as film history and aesthetics that exposes the student to a very broad spectrum of film-making styles. These major components contribute to the student's growth in concept development and accomplished story telling. Students follow a basic film-making program during their first year. Animation students work in both traditional cel animation and computer animation. Additionally there is opportunity to concentrate in either the 2D or 3D form. 2D students take a sequence of drawing for animation classes while 3D students must first learn how to model and rig their elements. The 2D Concentration begins with character design and progresses through dynamics to a sequences class where student function as a pseudo-animation studio, conceptualizing a project and working as a group on every scene to be produced. The 3D Concentration teaches students all aspects of computer animation. Modeling in Polygons, NURBs and Subdivision surfaces is taught with an emphasis placed on the need to strike a balance between heavy detail and economy of animation. Students are expected to produce three major finished films during their course of study: a one-quarter film during their sophomore year, a two-quarter film during the junior year, and a senior thesis.

Students must have completed Secondary School with Transcripts a minimum score of 79 in Internet Based TOEFL (iBT), 550 in Paper Based TOEFL, 213 in Computer Based TOEFL, 6.5 in IELTS. Applications to this program are accepted from matriculated undergraduate computer engineering technology students who have completed all the courses in the first five quarters of the baccalaureate program and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
