Ringkasan program
This program provides the foundation for a career in a variety of commercial product design and service professions. It prepares students for immediate entry into design practice as well as long-term continued growth and achievement. Students in this program take a carefully defined sequence of courses developed to give them exposure and practice in the areas of theory and skill required by industrial design. These include drawing, form development, history, creative thinking, engineering principles, research, design methodology, human factors, computer-aided design, manufacturing and commercial factors. In their third year, students will select electives from concentration tracks arranged around specialty areas and current issues in the profession. The upper level studio classes are reserved for study abroad, internships, and sponsored projects with students from other departments and colleges.

Students should have enrolled in high school and college courses concurrently (regardless of the number of credits) or never attended college or have attempted fewer than 12 semester college credits since graduating from high school. International student’s should have a minimum English proficiency requirement may be met with one of the following exams such as TOEFL IBT score of 71 (minimum score of 17 in the speaking and writing sections); TOEFL PBT 530; IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum score of 5.5 in all sub-sections); SAT critical reading score of 420.
