Ringkasan program
In this program instruction in each area is designed to train students for public performance and teaching in schools or private studios, to prepare them for passing barrier examinations, to develop them culturally, to develop musicianship and technical proficiency, to strengthen sight-reading and the ability to assimilate music without guidance, and to prepare them for participation in church services, orchestras, ensemble groups or graduate work.
Modul program
The modules include MUAM (1000-level applied major); MUAM (3000-level applied major)); MUAC (1000-level applied concentration) (first auxiliary instrument); MUAC (1000-level applied concentration) (second auxiliary instrument); MUAC (3000-level applied concentration) (third auxiliary instrument); MUAC (3000-level applied concentration) (fourth auxiliary instrument); MUAG 4360/4370 Instrumental Pedagogy and Repertoire 3; MUAG 4700 Senior Recital 1.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school and strongly recommend that students take the following classes in high school. Students should have a strong ‘B’ average and have completed three units of English and two units each of solid mathematics, social science and natural science. Students should have a minimum combined SAT (combined critical reading/verbal and math) score of 1180 or ACT composite of 26. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
