Ringkasan program
This program prepares graduates for professional careers in apparel design, apparel marketing, and the retailing industries. Apparel design and production students develop creative and analytical skills necessary to solve complex design problems. Students in apparel marketing develop the necessary competencies to become resourceful business leaders. The program provides detailed practical experience and a solid base for graduate studies. Course work for all majors includes a foundation in liberal and general studies, including written and oral communications, mathematics, and computer science; textile and apparel evaluation; consumer behavior, historic analysis, and sustainable aspects of apparel; apparel design, production, consumer behavior, and marketing; and analysis of textile, apparel, and retailing industries.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should be a high school graduate from an accredited high school. They should have achieved an ACT score of 21 or above or an SAT (critical reading and math) of 980 or above; or ranked in the top third of the graduating class at the end of the seventh or eighth semester; or completed the precollege curriculum such as English, natural science, math, and social science. In addition to this, if international students meet the academic requirements, Kansas State University may conditionally admit them with no proof of English proficiency. English proficiency requirements for unconditional admission are transfer students from a U.S. institution must have completed both 24 credit hours at an accredited U.S. institution and English Composition I and II with grades of C or better; an IBT (Internet based TOEFL) - composite score of 79 or higher; IELTS - composite score of 6.5 or higher; ACT - English part score of 23 or higher; SAT - verbal part score of 530 or higher; PTE - Pearson Test of English - overall score of 53 or higher; Eiken (Pre-1 score); and four years attendance in a U.S. high school with grades of C or better in all college preparatory courses.
