This program maintains an active presence on-campus as well as within Vermont and the northeast. Music Education students learn the musical and pedagogical skill and knowledge needed in today's classrooms.

Modul program

The modules are as follows: Forty Credits in Music: Majors in all concentrations except jazz studies (see below) must take the following core courses: MU 111, MU 112 (history); MU 054, MU 056, MU 109 MU 110, MU 154, MU 156 (theory), MU 209, MU 210; and eight credits of performance study (two credits of ensembles plus six credits of lessons, excluding group piano lessons). Concentrators must take MU 054, MU 056 (theory), MU 109, MU 110; MU 111, or MU 112 (history); three additional credits selected from the following offerings: MU 106, MU 107, MU 113, MU 201, MU 203, MU 205; eight credits of performance study (two credits of ensembles plus six credits of lessons, excluding group piano lessons); MU 024, MU 025, MU 105, MU 159, MU 257, MU 259; three additional credits at the 100-level in performance study and MU 250 (senior recital).

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have minimum entry requirements: four years of English; three years of mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II and geometry (or equivalents); two years of the same foreign language (American Sign Language meets this requirement); two years of a natural or physical science, including a laboratory science; three years of social sciences. International students should have a minimum acceptable TOEFL score of both 550 for the paper-based and 79-80 for the iBT and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
