Ringkasan program
This instructional program is designed to prepare students for careers in the biotechnology industry as well as careers in basic biological research. A B.S. degree in Biology with the Biotechnology Emphasis also is appropriate for those students who wish to pursue advanced degrees in cell and molecular biology, genetics, microbiology or biochemistry.

The modules include BIOL 108 General Biology I, BIOL 108L General Biology I Laboratory, BIOL 109 General Biology II, BIOL 109L General Biology II Laboratory, BIOL 202 Cell Biology, BIOL 206 Genetics, LSBIOC 341 Basic Biochemistry, LSMCRB 313 Introduction to Microbiology, BIOL 409 Developmental Biology, LSBIOC 425 Bioinformatics, SBIOC 430 Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
For entering freshmen, there are no special requirements beyond those for general admission to the University. Students with prior college coursework must have earned a 2.0 GPA in all attempted courses. In addition, students must have a 2.0 GPA in all math and science courses, including biology.
