Ringkasan program
This instructional program fully prepares individuals for admission to a professional school in medicine, including allopathic, osteopathic or podiatric medicine programs. By completing the requirements of the bachelor's of science in biology with the cellular and molecular basis of health and disease emphasis, students will complete all of the minimum prerequisites and the upper level biology electives which are highly recommended by most medical schools.

The modules include BIOL 108 General Biology I, BIOL 108L General Biology I Laboratory, BIOL 109 General Biology II, BIOL 109L General Biology II Laboratory, BIOL 202 Cell Biology, BIOL 206 Genetics, LSBIOC 341 Basic Biochemistry, LSPHYS 316 Principles of Physiology, LSMCRB 313 Microbiology, BIOL 409 Developmental Biology, LSBIOC 430 Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, LSMCRB 431 or LSMCRB 435 Virology or Immunology.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
For entering freshmen, there are no special requirements beyond those for general admission to the University. Students with prior college coursework must have earned a 2.0 GPA in all attempted courses. In addition, students must have a 2.0 GPA in all math and science courses, including biology.
