Ringkasan program
In this program, students who intend to enter medicine or a wide range of other health-related professions such as dentistry, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, nursing, pharmacy, or optometry may find it most appropriate to select the pre-health concentration. The Pre-health science curriculum includes core classes that will prepare students who are applying to health profession training programs after graduation from DePaul, as well as those wanting a deeper understanding of the biology underlying human and animal physiology. It will also expose students to the breadth of fields within biology while allowing them to select from courses with a human biology focus.

The modules are Required Biology Courses (all majors): BIO 101 General Bio I, BIO 102 General Bio II, BIO 103 General Bio III, BIO 260 Genetics, BIO 305 Biometry, Allied Field Courses: General Chemistry (CHE 111-115), One year of General Physics, Organic Chemistry (CHE 171-175), One year of Calculus, Pre-Health Concentration Courses: Required courses: BIO 210 Microbiology, BIO 250 Cell Biology, BIO 310 Vertebrate Physiology, Biology Electives from the following two options (2 must have a lab): Three Biology Electives (at least one with lab) from the following courses: Bio 201 - Anatomy, Bio 220 - Prin. of Biotech, Bio 311 - Histology, Bio 230 - Epidemiology, Bio 330 - Developmental Biology, Bio 339 - Cell. Neurobiology, Bio 340 - Syst. Neurobiology, Bio 341 - Topics Neurobiology, Bio 347 - Topics Medical Bacteriology, Bio 348 - Biology of Infection, Bio 355 - Genetic Toxicology, Bio 360 - Molec. Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants should have completed or are about to complete their secondary school education (high school) and have not taken any college or university coursework after finishing their secondary education. Applicants educated outside the US, regardless of their legal status, should have a proof of English proficiency. Applicants can prove their English proficiency by submitting any of the tests below: minimum TOEFL score of 80, no section lower than 17 (internet based), 213 (computer-based) or 550 (paper based); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT verbal score of 500; minimum ACT score of 18 on the reading section, and 20 on the English section and a minimum Pearson Test of English Academic score of 53.
