This program is designed to prepare students as competent economists ready for successful careers in business or government, and/or for graduate school in economics or professional school studying business or law.
Modul program
ECON 2105 Principles of Macroeconomics (3 hours), MATH 1260 Survey of Calculus or Calculus I (3-4 hours), OR 3 hours of 1000-4000 level electives if MATH 1260 or 1261 is used in Area A or D (3 hours), MATH 2600 Probability and Statistics or 3 hours of 1000-4000 level electives if MATH 2600 is used in Area D (3 hours), CSCI 1000 Introduction to Computer Science (3 hours) or CSCI 1301 Computer Science I (3 hours) or CBIS 2215 Introduction to Computers in Business (3 hours), Electives (choose two; if PHIL 2200 was used in Area C, it cannot be used in this area): (6 hours) PHIL 2250, Logic and Critical Thinking (3 hours), RHET 1110, Public Speaking (3 hours), PHIL 2200, Survey of Philosophy (3 hours), ECON 3220 International Trade (3 hours), ECON 3600 Intermediate Microeconomics (3 hours), ECON 3800 Intermediate Macroeconomics (3 hours), ECON 4340 Introductory Econometrics (3 hours), Senior Seminar (3 hours).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have high school graduates that have earned less than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of transferable college credit coursework (not including joint enrollment and advanced placement credits). They should have strong SAT or ACT score results and provide a well developed personal essay. The middle 50% of admitted students had SAT total scores ranging from 1070 to 1210 (CR + M sub scores only), and high school grade point averages ranging from 3.13 to 3.71 (calculated on academic courses only).
