Ringkasan program
This program is designed to provide students with a core body of knowledge consisting of principles, tools and techniques that students will need as start their finance career and a set of electives designed to prepare students for the career of their choice. Examples of careers include: corporate finance, investment banking and the securities industry, management consulting, regulatory agencies, commercial banking, retail brokerage, financial planning, and portfolio management, insurance companies. This option provides a broad knowledge of financial markets, institutions, and services. It prepares students for providing financial products and services to the consumer. Graduates with this option generally seek careers in commercial banking, consumer lending, brokerage services, portfolio management, financial planning, insurance, or real estate. They offer electives in commercial banking, insurance, real estate, financial planning, and security and portfolio analysis to students electing this option.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should be a high school graduate from an accredited high school. They should have achieved an ACT score of 21 or above or an SAT (critical reading and math) of 980 or above; or ranked in the top third of the graduating class at the end of the seventh or eighth semester; or completed the precollege curriculum such as English, natural science, math, and social science. In addition to this, if international students meet the academic requirements, Kansas State University may conditionally admit them with no proof of English proficiency. English proficiency requirements for unconditional admission are transfer students from a U.S. institution must have completed both 24 credit hours at an accredited U.S. institution and English Composition I and II with grades of C or better; an IBT (Internet based TOEFL) - composite score of 79 or higher; IELTS - composite score of 6.5 or higher; ACT - English part score of 23 or higher; SAT - verbal part score of 530 or higher; PTE - Pearson Test of English - overall score of 53 or higher; Eiken (Pre-1 score); and four years attendance in a U.S. high school with grades of C or better in all college preparatory courses.
