This department is located in Jubilee Hall, it is with six stories and more than 126,000 square feet of academic space, this structure provides a home for the Stillman School of Business, the College of Education and Human Services, the New Jersey Center for Civic and Law- Related Education and the Departments of Political Science, Psychology, Public and Healthcare Administration and Sociology and Anthropology. It contains 156 faculty and administrative offices and 30 teaching spaces, from seminar rooms that seat eight people to an auditorium seating 390. It also features a central, three-story skylit atrium where students and faculty can congregate informally. A major feature of the building is the technological capabilities it brings to the teaching and learning processes. These include fixed and flexible seating classrooms with the most contemporary information and distance-learning technologies that facilitate the transmission of lectures all over the world; laboratories with one-way observation mirrors; and classrooms with terminals for portable computers. Its faculty conduct internationally recognized research and innovative, technologically-enhanced instruction. The University Libraries have notable resources, including extensive holdings of almost 700,000 book volumes, and 1,127 current periodical subscriptions, back-files of more than 6,500 serial titles, electronic access to full text articles in more than 25,000 journals, a broad selection of indexing and abstracting services in both digital and print formats, various microform collections, music CDs, and audiovisual aids.

This university provides both on-campus and off-campus housing through residence halls. Aquinas Hall houses 336 first year and upper-class students. It is arranged in two-room suites, each sharing a private bathroom. A study lounge is available for students on each of the three floors. Its director's office is located in the lobby. Students can contact the Aquinas Hall front desk at 973-761-9566. Boland Hall houses 704 first year students. Floors are arranged in theme-house style allowing students with similar interests to live and learn. North Boland is co-ed by floor and is arranged so two rooms share a bathroom. South Boland is single gender by wing and is arranged so individual rooms share a community bathroom. The Pirate's Cellar is located in the basement and is available for studying, television, pool games, programs, and other assorted activities. The Complex is made up of three individual residence halls that function as one area under the supervision of the Complex Residence Hall Director. Each of the three halls is arranged in two and three room suites, each sharing a private bathroom. There are two lounges available for students on each floor. In addition, a study lounge is located behind the reception desk. Its Director’s office is located on the first floor of Neumann Hall. Xavier Hall houses 517 upper-class students and it is the home of the Sophomore Year Experience program. This residence hall is arranged so two rooms share a bathroom. A study lounge and a game lounge are available on the second and third floors. The Residence Hall Director’s office is located on the first floor lobby.
