Ringkasan program

This program's objective is to provide an outstanding education that prepares its graduates to succeed as practicing chemical engineers, or serves as a foundation for advanced study in chemical engineering or related fields, or that qualifies the department's graduate to seek professional degrees in fields such as medicine or law; and to provide opportunities for its graduates to specialize in specific career areas of chemical engineering, such as materials development and processing, biological engineering, process engineering and and environmental engineering. The semiconductor manufacturing concentration is designed to prepare the student in the fundamental unit operations used in semiconductor manufacturing and statistical methods used extensively in the industry to optimize the performance of these unit operations. The continuing revolution occurring in computer technology virtually insures there will be a strong future demand for engineers with the background needed for semiconductor manufacturing. The goal of this concentration is to introduce students to the specific chemical engineering tools used in micro-chip fabrication.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have an American upper secondary school education or equivalent and have the appropriate diplomas or satisfactory results on leaving examinations, with strong academic preparation or a U.S. equivalent grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (for freshman applicants) or 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (for transfer students), a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS or a minimum of 520 on the paper test, 190 on the computerized version, or 68 on the internet-based test in TOEFL, minimum score for the CPE or CAE is a C.
