Ringkasan program
This program plan is designed to prepare students for professional careers. Students majoring in chemistry may complete the last 34 hours of their degree at an accredited school of engineering, provided a cooperative program leading to both a BS degree in chemistry. The suggested minor or second major should be chosen from biology. All prospective pre-medicine students should see a chemistry department pre-medicine advisor prior to their first registration. This program is also designed for pre-dental, pre-physical therapy, pre-veterinary and other medically related programs.

Applicants graduated from an accredited high school of under or above 21 years of age must meet one of the following criteria: ACT composite score of 21 or higher; or rank in the top 1/3 of high school graduating class; or complete the pre-college curriculum with at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; or have 24 or more transferable college credit hours with at least a 2.0/4.0 cumulative grade point average. The pre-college curriculum should include, four units of English, three units of Math (Algebra I and above taken in grade 9-12), three units of natural science (at least one must be chemistry or physics), and three units of social science. Those who are from a non-accredited high school or home school should possess ACT composite score of 21 or higher. Applicants must also have a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent in high school or a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, if they have been transferred from another U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work). They must also demonstrate their English language proficiency by obtaining 520 (paper) or 190 (computer) or 68 (internet) scores in TOEFL; and an overall band of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each band in IELTS.
